The Mets are set to welcome back pitcher Nate Lavender, who was recently DFA’d by the Tampa Bay Rays and subsequently returned to their Triple-A roster. After undergoing elbow surgery that sidelined him for part of the 2024 season, Lavender, who posted a 3.86 ERA in five Triple-A appearances this year, may compete for a bullpen spot during spring training.
