The Texas Rangers have signed free agent reliever Declan Cronin to a two-year minor league contract, following his Tommy John surgery that will sideline him for the 2026 season. Cronin, who previously pitched for the Marlins under manager Skip Schumaker, had a 4.35 ERA in 2024 before injuries led to his release, and he will aim for a middle relief spot in 2027.
