Former Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price was honored with a chainsaw-carved wooden statue titled “The Goalie,” unveiled in Williams Lake, BC, where he played minor hockey. Although Price could not attend, his parents represented him, expressing pride in his roots and inspiring many First Nation youth through his career and resilience against adversity.
