New York Islanders prospect Kashawn Aitcheson will return to the OHL’s Barrie Colts for his 19th season instead of signing an entry-level contract or moving to the NCAA. After impressive performances, including 26 goals and 59 points last season, the Islanders are expected to sign him next summer, while other prospects, including first-overall pick Matthew Schaefer, will also be closely monitored as they transition to the next season.
