The Athletics’ rookie outfielder Denzel Clarke has been placed on the injured list indefinitely due to a Grade 2 right adductor strain, as confirmed by manager Mark Kotsay. Clarke sustained the injury while scoring during a game against the Cleveland Guardians and was showing promising offensive improvement, hitting .333 in his last 12 games after a slow start.
