Spencer Jones, the Yankees’ top prospect, quickly justified his promotion to Triple-A by hitting a solo home run in his first at-bat for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, sending the ball 397 feet at 110 mph. Previously excelling in Double-A with a .274/.389/.594 line, Jones entered Triple-A with a strong .321 average and 1.039 OPS in June.
