The New York Jets have waived kicker Anders Carlson and signed Harrison Mevis to their active roster. Carlson, who was drafted by the Packers in 2023, had a brief stint with the 49ers before joining the Jets and appearing in seven games, where he made 13 of 15 field goal attempts. With Mevis now on the roster, the Jets will have two kickers competing for the starting position, including undrafted free agent Caden Davis.
