Pete Crow-Armstrong, the Chicago Cubs outfielder and top vote-getter among NL outfielders for this year’s All-Star Game, has decided not to participate in the Home Run Derby, stating, “No, that’s not for me.” Despite ranking seventh in the majors with 19 home runs during a breakout season, he expressed concerns about the challenge of the event’s timer. Crow-Armstrong humorously left the door open for future participation, saying, “Maybe when I’m older.”
