San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is hopeful that his recent four-year, $76.4 million contract will lead to increased pay for tight ends across the NFL, emphasizing that the market can only grow if multiple players are compensated well. Currently, only four tight ends earn over $15 million annually, compared to 21 wide receivers making over $20 million. Kittle, who co-founded Tight End University, believes that as the market evolves, future tight ends like Brock Bowers could command salaries exceeding $20 million.
