Rangers Trade Chris Kreider to Ducks
New York Rangers president and general manager Chris Drury successfully traded Chris Kreider to the Anaheim Ducks, along with a 2025 fourth-round pick, in exchange for forward prospect Carey Terrance and a 2025 third-round pick. The Ducks will assume Kreider’s full salary of $6.5 million AAV for the remaining two years of his contract, allowing the Rangers to free up salary cap space without retaining any funds. This move enhances the Rangers’ financial flexibility heading into the upcoming offseason and positions them for significant roster changes.
