Dorian Finney-Smith recently underwent surgery on his left ankle and is anticipated to participate in next season’s training camp after struggling with the injury for several seasons. Following his trade from the Brooklyn Nets to the Los Angeles Lakers, he missed eight games due to “left ankle injury management.” Finney-Smith has until June 29 to decide on opting out of his $15.4 million contract for the upcoming season or potentially signing an extension before the start of free agency on June 30.
