The Angels have signed outfielder Ben Gamel to a minor league deal, assigning him to Triple-A Salt Lake after he was released by the Tigers. Gamel, 33, has a nine-season MLB career, debuting with the Yankees in 2016 and becoming a journeyman, playing for five teams since 2021 while hitting a league-average .239/.338/.372.
