Ex-49ers receiver Conley retires from NFL to attend film school



Veteran wide receiver Chris Conley, who played the last two seasons with the 49ers, is retiring from the NFL after a decade-long career to pursue film school at the University of Georgia. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Conley reflected on achieving his childhood goal of playing 10 years in the league and expressed excitement for his new venture. Throughout his career, Conley recorded 226 receptions for 2,998 yards and 15 touchdowns while also contributing significantly in the playoffs with the 49ers in 2023 and 2024.
