New York Islanders forward Anthony Duclair is on leave for the remainder of the regular season due to injuries and a public dispute with head coach Patrick Roy, but new GM Mathieu Darche believes there will be no long-term effects from the situation and is optimistic Duclair will be ready for training camp. Meanwhile, the Toronto Maple Leafs may consider a sign-and-trade for Mitch Marner this offseason, although such a scenario is deemed unlikely. Additionally, Brad Marchand is expected to receive a raise this summer as he approaches his age-38 season after a successful playoff run.
