The Phoenix Suns are hiring Cleveland Cavaliers assistant Jordan Ott as their next head coach, as reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania. Ott, who has been coaching in the NBA since 2012 and has previously worked with the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers, was a top choice for the position, influenced by Suns star Devin Booker. This marks the Suns’ eighth head coach since drafting Booker in 2015, following a pattern of frequent coaching changes, with the team having fired its head coach after the last three seasons.
