New York Rangers’ Roster Overhaul
New York Rangers president and general manager Chris Drury is actively seeking to reshape the team following a disappointing 2024-25 season that saw them miss the playoffs. Drury has indicated that virtually everything is on the table, having already traded players like Jacob Trouba and Kaapo Kakko, and he recently fired head coach Peter Laviolette in favor of Mike Sullivan. With significant changes underway, the Rangers’ roster is under evaluation, and further adjustments to the core are likely.
