London beats Moncton to face Medicine Hat in Memorial Cup final
In the Memorial Cup semifinal, the London Knights triumphed over the Moncton Wildcats with a score of 5-2, thanks to Blake Montgomery’s third-period goal that broke the tie. London, which also saw goals from Landon Sim, Denver Barkey, Jesse Nurmi, and Easton Cowan, will face the Medicine Hat Tigers in the final. The Knights, who lost to the Saginaw Spirit in last year’s final, advanced after Medicine Hat beat them 3-1 in the previous round.
