White Sox right-hander Miguel Castro is out for the season due to a knee injury sustained while covering first base, according to Jesse Rogers of ESPN. Acquired from the Astros two weeks ago, Castro made six appearances for Chicago, allowing five runs over six innings, after a strong start in Triple-A with a 2.29 ERA. He will be placed on the 60-day injured list, concluding his brief tenure with the team, and will enter free agency at the offseason, likely receiving only minor league offers due to his injury history.
