Former NFL defensive lineman Randy Crowder has passed away at 72. A first-team All-American at Penn State in 1973, he was drafted by the Dolphins in 1974 but faced legal issues that interrupted his career. After serving time, he returned to the NFL with the Buccaneers and later became Penn State’s defensive line coach; he is survived by his son, former NFL player Channing Crowder, making them the only father-son duo both drafted by the Dolphins.
