Jim Irsay, the 65-year-old owner of the Indianapolis Colts, passed away peacefully in his sleep, as announced by team COO Pete Ward. Irsay was instrumental in transforming the Colts into a competitive franchise, leveraging the talent of Peyton Manning and partnering with Hall of Fame figures like Bill Polian and Tony Dungy to secure a Super Bowl title. Despite recent health struggles, including respiratory issues and addiction battles, Irsay’s legacy of dedication to the team and community, along with his love for family, will be remembered.
