WASHINGTON — The Washington Nationals have placed rookie slugger Dylan Crews on the 10-day injured list due to a left oblique strain, following his exit during a game against Atlanta after experiencing stiffness. Crews, the second overall pick in the 2023 MLB draft, is hitting .196 with seven home runs and 15 RBIs but had been managing soreness for about a week. In response, the Nationals recalled Robert Hassell III from Triple-A Rochester, who was set to make his MLB debut in the rainout game against the Braves.
