The Green Bay Packers have proposed a revised ban on the Tush Push play, aiming to amend Rule 12, Section 1, Article 4 of the NFL rules, which would prohibit offensive players from pushing, pulling, or lifting runners. This updated proposal, addressing player safety and game pace, will be discussed at the upcoming NFL Owners’ Meeting. Initially submitted in March, the proposal has been reworked to align with historical NFL regulations prior to 2005, when such actions were banned.
