The NFL has scheduled a matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets, anticipating that Aaron Rodgers may sign with the Steelers. Mike North, NFL’s VP of broadcast planning, confirmed that the schedule was influenced by the expectation of Rodgers joining the Steelers but denied having insider information. While the Steelers currently have a less competitive quarterback lineup, they are still hopeful for Rodgers’ signing, which could make their games more interesting, especially against his former team, the Green Bay Packers, in a prime-time slot.
