Jayson Tatum, the Boston Celtics star, shared his first social media post after undergoing surgery to repair a torn right Achilles tendon, expressing gratitude for the support he received. He will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 postseason and likely most, if not all, of the next season, as the Celtics have not provided a return timetable. Tatum was performing exceptionally before his injury, averaging 28.1 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in the postseason, and had scored 42 points in Game 4 against the New York Knicks prior to his injury.
