The Vancouver Canucks are set to name Adam Foote as their new head coach, according to TSN’s Darren Dreger. Foote, who joined the team as an assistant coach in the 2022-23 season under Rick Tocchet, has never held a head coaching position in the NHL. Tocchet departed from the Canucks in April after three seasons, despite the team’s attempts to extend his contract.
