The San Francisco 49ers are signing undrafted free agent cornerback Derrick Canteen, as reported by Matt Maiocco. In a related move, the team is waiving safety Quindell Johnson. Canteen, who played six college seasons with Georgia Southern, Virginia Tech, and Cincinnati, recorded 204 tackles, nine interceptions, and five passes defended in 54 games.
