Defenseman Tyson Jugnauth, previously committed to Michigan State, has opted to sign with the Seattle Kraken instead of returning to college after a successful season in the WHL. After struggling at the University of Wisconsin, Jugnauth excelled with the Portland Winterhawks, finishing 13th in WHL scoring and leading all defensemen with 13 goals and 76 assists in 65 games, earning WHL Defenseman of the Year honors. He is expected to begin his professional career with AHL Coachella Valley next season.
