The Philadelphia Phillies can always rely on left fielder Kyle Schwarber to get on base.
During a recent game against the Cleveland Guardians, Schwarber hit a solo home run off pitcher Luis Ortiz in the second inning, giving the Phillies a 1-0 lead. This homer extended his on-base streak to 46 consecutive games, the longest active streak in Major League Baseball, and only behind Bobby Abreu’s 48-game streak for the Phillies in the wild-card era.
