Veteran linebacker Jaylon Smith is attending the Raiders’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, as reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN. A free agent since the end of the season, Smith was briefly signed to the Steelers’ practice squad but did not play, with his last game action occurring in 2023 for the Raiders. Originally a second-round pick by the Cowboys in 2016, he has played in 88 career games, recording 626 tackles, 11 sacks, and earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2019, while also having stints with the Giants and Packers.
