Denver Barkey Receives Dan Snyder Memorial Trophy
The Ontario Hockey League has awarded Denver Barkey the Dan Snyder Memorial Trophy for Humanitarian of the Year, recognizing his contributions to the community through the Barkey’s Buds program, which provided over 1,500 pieces of hockey equipment to children with disabilities and 500 tickets to games. In addition to his charitable efforts, Barkey excelled on the ice, scoring 25 goals and 82 points in 50 games this season. London Knights GM Mark Hunter praised Barkey’s character and commitment to community service, marking this as a proud moment for him and the organization.
