A pair of former big league relievers have signed with Mexican League teams, with Carl Edwards Jr. rejoining the Tigers de Quintana Roo and Matt Foster signing with the Algodoneros del Unión Laguna. Edwards has returned to Quintana Roo after a brief stint with the Angels, where he made two MLB appearances this season, while Foster, who had surgery and was waived by the White Sox, is making his debut with Algodoneros. Both players are looking to revitalize their careers in the Mexican League after facing challenges in recent years.
