The Florida Panthers have signed defense prospect Ludvig Jansson to a three-year, entry-level contract effective next season. Jansson, 21, was selected in the fourth round of the 2022 draft and has played professionally in Sweden, predominantly with LuleΓ₯ HF in the SHL, where he averaged just over 10 minutes per game this season. Since he is under 24 and not a first-round pick, he may be loaned back to LuleΓ₯ if he doesn’t make the NHL team, but he is expected to receive more playing time with AHL Charlotte.
