The San Francisco 49ers have re-signed tight end Ross Dwelley to a one-year deal after a season with the Atlanta Falcons. The 30-year-old undrafted player initially joined the 49ers in 2018 and has since played in 101 games, recording 45 receptions for 523 yards and five touchdowns. Despite a career-low performance in Atlanta, where he had only one catch for five yards, Dwelley will bolster the 49ers’ tight end depth chart alongside star George Kittle, who recently signed a four-year extension worth $76.4 million.
