The Green Bay Packers have decided not to exercise linebacker Quay Walker’s fifth-year option, as reported by Rob Demovsky. Despite this decision, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst has indicated that Walker is still in their long-term plans, with intentions to pursue a contract extension. The 24-year-old, drafted 22nd overall in 2022, is entering the final year of his rookie contract, having recorded 102 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 2024, and will become an unrestricted free agent in 2026.
