Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the Browns will not be picking up QB Kenny Pickett‘s fifth-year option, which is projected to cost $22.117 million. This decision comes as Pickett, the 20th overall pick in the 2022 draft, is not guaranteed the starting role and will compete with Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders for the position. In 2024, Pickett played five games for the Eagles, recording 291 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
