Caleb Lohner, a tight end from Utah, was the most inexperienced player selected in the 2025 NFL draft, picked in the seventh round by the Broncos after playing just 57 plays in college. Broncos head coach Sean Payton sees potential in Lohner, who previously focused on basketball, noting his size at 6-7, 245 and movement skills observed at the Big 12 Pro Day, drawing comparisons to his past success with Jimmy Graham. While expectations for Lohner to become another Graham may be high, the Broncos believe he has the potential to develop into an NFL playmaker.
