NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced a change to the Thanksgiving game schedule, moving the Lions’ kickoff time from 12:30 PM to 1 PM Eastern, aligning it with traditional Sunday start times. The three Thanksgiving games will now begin at 1, 4:25, and 8:15 PM Eastern, with Goodell affirming that Detroit and Dallas will remain the traditional hosts for these games. The league will also continue to feature a high-profile prime time game on Thanksgiving night.
