Cal Clutterbuck Announces Retirement from NHL
Cal Clutterbuck announced his retirement from the NHL via an Instagram post on Wednesday, having not played in the past season. The 37-year-old forward spent 11 years with the New York Islanders, where he became the NHL’s all-time hits leader with 4,029, a statistic tracked since the 2007-08 season. Clutterbuck was originally drafted by the Minnesota Wild in 2006 and played six seasons there before joining the Islanders.
