Payton Pritchard has been named the 24-25 NBA Sixth Man of the Year, securing 82 of 100 first-place votes and totaling 454 points, ahead of Malik Beasley and Ty Jerome. He averaged a career-high 14.3 points and led the NBA with 1,079 points off the bench for the Boston Celtics, while also setting a single-season record for three-pointers made off the bench with 246. Pritchard, the 26th overall pick from Oregon in the 2020 NBA draft, signed a four-year, $30 million contract extension with the Celtics in 2023.
