Despite Dončić and James each scoring over 24 points, the Lakers couldn’t overcome a late surge by the Magic, who snapped a six-game home losing streak. The Lakers, now 43-28, are tied for fourth place in the West, trailing the Denver Nuggets by a half-game in the race for the No. 2 seed.
