PGA Tour Enterprises is in ongoing talks with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund to unify men’s golf and have all top athletes compete in the same tournaments. PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan, Tiger Woods, and Adam Scott are meeting with White House officials, including President Donald Trump and PIF governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan, to seek federal assistance in finalizing a $1.5 billion deal. Negotiations have been ongoing since early 2023, with a deadline set for December 31, 2024. Despite recent positive comments from Woods and Monahan, a final agreement has not yet been reached.
