Ben Stokes, England’s Test captain, has been ruled out of all cricket for three months due to a recurrence of his torn left hamstring during the third Test against New Zealand. Stokes, 33, will undergo surgery in January after pulling up during the match, which was the same hamstring he tore earlier in the year. Despite his setback, Stokes remains determined to contribute “blood, sweat and tears” to the team and is focused on his rehabilitation to return to full fitness for England’s next Test match in May.
