Jaromír Jágr, at 52 years old, surpassed Gordie Howe as the oldest professional hockey player while playing for Rytíři Kladno in the Czech Republic, scoring in a playoff win over VHK Vsetín. Jágr’s career began in the NHL in 1990 with the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he ranks second all-time in scoring and fourth in goals, playing for nine teams over 24 years. Despite injuries, Jágr continues to play for Kladno, owning and operating the team while maintaining his status as a hockey legend.
