Bihar youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi, at 13 years and 243 days, became the youngest player to secure an IPL deal with Rajasthan Royals for INR 1.10 crore, after impressing with a century against Australia U-19. The left-hand top-order batter has played for India U-19, featured in five Ranji Trophy games, and made his T20 debut for Bihar, idolizing Brian Lara and seeking guidance from Wasim Jaffer and his father/coach Sanjeev Suryavanshi.
