The NBA is considering a shift to a four-team tournament format for the 2025 All-Star Game, with three teams of eight All-Stars each and the fourth team being the winner of the Rising Stars Game. The league aims to increase competitiveness and viewer interest, following recent changes to the All-Star Game format such as the playground-style team captain selection process and the introduction of the Elam ending in 2020. The potential inclusion of NBA and WNBA players like Stephen Curry, Sabrina Ionescu, Klay Thompson, and Caitlin Clark could bring new excitement to the event, which is scheduled for Feb. 16 at the Golden State Warriors’ Chase Center.
