Legendary baseball broadcaster Bob Costas, 72, is retiring from play-by-play announcing after a career spanning over four decades, including calling Major League Baseball games and serving as MLB Network’s lead game broadcaster. Costas, who confirmed his retirement plans but will make a formal announcement later, will no longer handle play-by-play duties, with his last call possibly being the ALDS Game 4 between the New York Yankees and the Kansas City Royals.
